In this article we will explain how to create a migration trace to troubleshot problems:
- Just before the copy data action go to menu Tools > Preferences
- Select “Reports” Tab
- Check “Enable Migration Logging”
- Make sure that the detail level is at least “Debug” (it gets very noisy above that level)
- Then save yourself some time, right click on the filename and select “explore” so that you can easily open the logfile afterwards.
- Press OK to close the dialog and activate the logging facility
- Now process your data as in: Select your tables and process them.
- Afterward go back to Preferences and uncheck the checkbox for “Enable Migration Logging”
